Labor Day 1.0.3
Labor Day is the current release. American flag skies, mail by the front door, and a market portal. At night, monsters set up fireworks instead of attacking. They hang out with you, give gifts, share food if you have none, and offer healing hugs if you are hurt. Walk into one to switch places. They mine the node you were working on, and they cut through trees and rocks or walk around them. They carry loot, pass it between each other — you can watch it fly — and a thief may snatch yours. They spend that pile to craft, build, chart new land, and work your advancements. Two Planks becomes a set of wood armor, so they can stay through the day. They can walk into your Base without tearing it down — sometimes one gets distracted watching TV, or raids the pantry when hungry. Right-click one to see its inventory, health, and hunger — drop food in to share, and they fill up and roam again. Fifty Planks summons one more friend, cap three, and dusk no longer respawns extras on its own. In a thunderstorm, one rushes to your side and takes the lightning — it hurts them, then they heal. They can also demolish machines and wrecks, and hand the refund back. When the fireworks go off, the night fills with screaming and booming. Wall Sheet $150 · Show DLC $100. Event-only; these updates go away in 1.0.4.
